I’ve been playing with the Ableton Live 12 Beta. One of the great new features of it is the new native CC Control device, which lets you easily send CC messages to an external synth.
The TX-6 by Teenage Engineering has a great sounding drum machine in it, and I wanted to create a drum rack that gave some immediate control over various parameters that require a bit of menu diving on the device.
So… I created this drum rack that utilizes the Control Change messages of the TX-6, but within an Ableton Drum Rack. This works pretty nicely with Push also!
To ensure it works, set the TX-6 to CNTL IN and Note ON.
