One thing I’ve really enjoyed about the OP-XY by Teenage Engineering is the ability to chain patterns into a Song.

Something I’ve been doing is creating a song structure via muting parts to create a collection of scenes. Once I have scenes 1-9 made, I’ll then creating a clone of each of these scenes and copy it to a new scene – scene 1’s clone is 11, scene 2’s clone on 12 etc….

I will then create a variation on those scenes with step components, altered patterns or punch in FX.

By doing this, I can easily switch to these variations when constructing an arrangement in Song Mode.
